This week's sales are so good, we're getting giddy just thinking about them! Before we rob you blind -- we mean, dazzle you with unreal prices on some of the most coveted luxury goodies in the city (e.g., Herms and David Yurman) -- we've got an offer to get your hands on free concert tickets in return for your promise to live a greener life.
Rockin' In a Tree World: All today, four Origins locations in the city (and Westchester and Garden State) are handing out free tickets (in twos!) to their second annual Origins Rocks Earth Month concert featuring Train and Nikki Jean at Webster Hall next month. No purchase is necessary, but ticket recipients must take the "Earth pledge" to promise to be proactive in incorporating environmentally conscious decisions into their everyday life. In addition to gifting tickets, Origins will plant a tree through the American Forests' Global ReLeaf program to represent each and every concert goer.
Visit Origins' Flatiron, Soho, Broadway or Grand Central locations today, March 21, to claim your tickets for the April 20 show, and take your pledge to help make a greener tomorrow.
Rumor Has It: David Yurman's signature twisted cable-carved and bejeweled pieces (pictured)
are anticipated to be generously marked down later this week at the brand's sample sale in Chelsea. Shopping blog, Madison Avenue Spy, notes that past sales have gone for as much as 70 percent off retail and predicts that this upcoming event could range anywhere from 30 to 70 off -- citing even sunglasses and children's items have made past (though limited) appearances at 50 percent off.

The Big One: Gunning for our attention (and bank accounts), the Herms sample sale at Soiffer Haskin begins on Wednesday and is sure to be a frenzy of all the leather goods and luxury enamel money can buy. Birkin hunters be warned -- the iconic handbag, as well as the Kelly, will not be included in the upcoming sale, but past events have had plenty of eye candy to keep your little orange-box cravings at bay. At this past September's sale, Mizhattan spotted flats and sandals for under $500 (marked down from $730 and $1,125) and stacks of the house's signature printed bangles for $276 - $396. While the prices have potential to be to-die-for, be prepared to wait -- the blogger also notes her wait time was a cool 90 minutes.

Fashion Cares: Following the fashion-friendly efforts to send support to Japan, Phillip Lim is hosting an impromptu sale at his showroom later this week with proceeds going to the American Red Cross. The sale will include (true) samples and current line merchandise from both women's and men's RTW, footwear and accessories, as well as children's apparel from the Kid by Phillip Lim collection. The details are limited, but we're pretty darn confident the shop stop will be well worth your time -- Elle.com even notes that the sale features no editor's preview, so the merchandise will be stellar from the start and not picked through remains.
