Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Figure Out Custody Again (But Will It Stick?)

We've been down this road before.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are due in court the next day, they reach a custody agreement at the 11th hour, and court is then canceled.

It happened last week and it's happened again, though with one notable difference...

It's their lawyers who are calling it a done deal, and not Charlie's Twitter page.

"Brooke and Charlie have reached an agreement that resolves their differences," attorneys for both sides said in a statement. "For the benefit of the children, the terms of their agreement will not be disclosed. They ask the public for privacy on this matter."

When it concerns children, sure. But Sheen's the one who just announced plans for his "Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option" live show, so it would behoove the lawyers to make sure he gets the memo.

Mueller enlisted a judge's help last week in having their twins sons, Bob and Max (who will be 2 on Monday), removed from Sheen's care, after his media onslaught in which he talked about how his kids were doing just great with him and the goddesses.

The still rehabbing Mueller, whose mom is handling daycare duties, also obtained a restraining order against Sheen, alleging he made violent threats against her and talked about offing a business associate.

But for now, "Brooke is happy with the settlement," a source tells E! News.
