CBS remains a man short of two and a half, with an NBC producer shooting down speculation that Rob Lowe ? who recently joined the cast of Parks and Recreation ? will jump ship to replace Charlie Sheen on the rival network.

Lowe, 46, has a "multiyear contract" with NBC and won't be leaving anytime soon, producer Michael Schur said Wednesday, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Schur said there was "no truth" to the rumors of Lowe replacing Sheen on Two and a Half Men, and added: "The Internet lit a match and set itself on fire."

Of course, it was Sheen himself who added fuel to that fire by personally endorsing Lowe as a possible replacement in a radio interview on Wednesday.

"Rob's an old friend and a brilliant actor. And he's a beautiful man," Sheen said. "What I would advise them to do, though, is just make it their own."
