Rock of Love Reality Trainwreck Faces the Music Over Booze Cruise

Megan wants to avoid jail?and that's exactly what she managed to do.

Megan Hauserman, the reality star who didn't win Bret Michaels' heart on Rock of Love and whose own show, Megan Wants a Millionaire, was abruptly yanked off the air thanks to a real-life murder scandal, has pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of DUI.

Here's what went down.

According to Ed Griffith, spokesman for the Miami State Attorney's Office, as part of a deal with prosecutors, the 29-year-old Hauserman accepted a guilty plea on March 22. In exchange, she was sentenced to six months' probation, fined $1,000 and had her driver's license suspended for six months. The Florida native was also ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and attend DUI school.

But the punishment was pretty much a slap on the wrist really.

The Judge also allowed her to report to probation by mail or phone, granted her permission to travel for work, and converted her 100 community service hours to a fine.

Hauserman got into this mess on April 15, 2010, when she was pulled over in her black BMW for weaving between lanes and speeding. She flubbed a sobriety test and wound up behind bars.

Hauserman has become a fixture on the reality TV circuit following her triumph on the third season of the CW's Beauty and the Geek. She followed up by unsuccessfully trying to woo Michaels on the second season VH1's Rock of Love and was also a contestant on the first season of VH1's I Love Money and Rock of Love: Charm School. Her stint on Charm School is best remembered for her brawl with host Sharon Osbourne, which ended in Hauserman suing Osbourne for battery (the duo finally settled in February).

Megan's reality TV career later fizzled after VH1 canceled her unscripted dating series, Megan Wants a Millionaire, after contestant Ryan Jenkins was implicated in the slaying of his wife and ultimately committed suicide.
