Jeff Conaway is still in critical condition after being hospitalized on May 11.

Jeff Conaway is still in critical condition and shows no sign of getting better.

The "Taxi" and "Grease" star, is "still unconscious, ventilated and intubated," Conaway's rep, Phil Brock, tells E! News, adding, "No improvement today."

Conaway was hospitalized on May 11 after he was found unconscious with pain killers and cold medicine in his system.

Initial reports suggested Conaway suffered from a drug overdose, but Brock tells E! it was medication in combination with severe illness that led to the actor's critical condition.

"My assumption [is] that the combination of pain killers and cold medicine led to his not knowing how seriously ill he was," the rep says. "If he was not taking any medicine, he wouldn't have passed out and would have gone to a doctor or a hospital on his own."

Though Brock concedes, "if you have been an addict, any medicine is too much, so it can be deduced that it's some type of O.D."

Dr. Drew Pinsky treated Conaway on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" and visited the actor over the weekend. He clarified that Conaway's coma has been medically induced while doctors treat him for pneumonia and sepsis - blood poisoning caused by an overwhelming level of bacteria in the body's bloodstream - which can be fatal.

Pinsky initially seemed positive about Conaway's outlook, but by Saturday said the actor had begun to slip to a "tenuous" condition.

Conaway has been open about his addictions to cocaine, alcohol, and pain killers, telling E! News last year that he was taking as many as 54 OxyContin pills a day.
