Catherine Bell stars as a heroic wife in the latest Lifetime movie.

She plays a suburban mom who draws on her secret past as a special-ops agent to save her kidnapped husband (Anthony Michael Hall).

? Until recently, many of us had assumed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's obnoxious bully routine was mostly an act.

And then he insulted an American Idol contestant's mother's cooking, on air, as she looked on, seemingly hurt and bewildered, leaving you to wonder whether that level of boorishness can really be feigned.

Feel free to judge for yourself on the second season of MasterChef (Fox, 8 ET/PT), but I've seen enough.
