Marsh: Rose is back at 165 Eaton Place.

It's a three-week, six-hour documentary from the makers of Planet Earth and Life. As the title implies, this effort looks at the way humans and nature interact around the globe, from arctic to deserts and everywhere in between.

?Of course, when it comes to British TV imports, few series have inspired as much passion or had as much impact as Upstairs Downstairs (Sunday, PBS, 9 ET/PT, times may vary), the multiple Emmy-winning series that helped put Masterpiece Theatreon the map.

Now it returns with three new, entertaining episodes starring the show's original co-creators: Jean Marsh, who won an Emmy as Rose, and Eileen Atkins, who is a total, matriarchal joy here as Lady Maud.

Set in 1936, the story finds Rose returning to 165 Eaton Place, this time as head housekeeper for some new residents (a family headed by Atkins, Keeley Hawes and Ed Stoppard).
