The 'Mad Men' actress and the 'Saturday Night Live' comedian - who married in October 2009 - had their marriage officially dissolved by a Los Angeles judge last Friday (13.05.11), with Elisabeth citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split.
According to court documents obtained by 'Access Hollywood', neither party is seeking spousal support, making the divorce relatively straightforward.
Elisabeth, 28, - who plays bombshell Peggy Olson in 'Mad Men' - initially filed for the marital split in September 2010 after parting ways from the funnyman the previous June after just eight months of marriage.
The couple first met in October 2008 when the actress appeared alongside her 'Mad Men' co-star Jon Hamm in a number of comedy skits on 'Saturday Night Live'.
This is the second divorce for 44-year-old Fred, who was married to British singer and songwriter Sally Timms from 1998 to 2004.
