Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr are not returning to Gossip Girl as season regulars next year.
According to TVLine.com, Little J and Vanessa will only be invited to guest star in season five, if that. The rest of the main cast ? Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester ? will all be back.

Neither Momsen, seen here with her Mom in New York City on May 6, nor Szohr have been a big part of Gossip Girl?s most recent season. The Pretty Reckless singer was placed on an ?indefinite hiatus? in November, while the Piranha 3D star has appeared only minimally.
Meanwhile, Kaylee DeFer, who plays Serena?s (Blake Lively) cousin Charlie, has been upgraded to a series regular.
