Ricki Lake Slapped With Lawsuit After Burning Down Malibu Beach Home

Not good!!

Ricki Lake has been slapped with one hell of lawsuit, which claims that was responsible for burning down a Malibu beach house she was renting in 2010, and if she loses, she could be out millions of dollars!

According to legal documents, filed Monday in El Lay County Superior Court by the home's owner, Hovsep Kousouyan, Lake was re-filling a portable space heater with very flammable heating oil, when some of it spilled onto heating coals, causing them to burst into flames.

The fire did significant damage to the property, and when emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Lake admitted complete fault.

Kousouyan now claims that the home is completely destroyed, and wants her to pay for all the damages, which, as we mentioned, could rack up in the millions.

Eek!

Obviously, it wasn't intentional, but yeah - if she signed a contract to rent this place, then we're sure she's legally obligated to fork over some serious dollah dollah bills!

Time to get on that, gurl!
